How to close a small hole in a sock

A quick criss-cross for small holes, worked right side out.
Step by step
- Use thinner thread and keep the sock right side out.
- Knot the thread and bring it up inside the hole so the knot stays inside.
- Pick up a stitch or two on the right of the hole, then on the left, making a criss-cross. Don't pull tight.
- Continue left to right and right to left until the hole is covered.
- Slowly pull the thread and the hole will close up.
- Secure with a small loop knot, run the thread back through the stitching and snip.
