Links to shops on SewSift are plain links. We earn nothing if you click or buy.
No paid placements
Makers and shops cannot pay for a review, a score or a spot in a list. If that ever changes, this page will say so first, and every affected page will be labelled.
No free kit in exchange for coverage
We do not accept products on the condition that we write about them.
How we're funded
SewSift is an independent project run by its editor. It is part of a small family of "Sift" sites with ToolSift and HomeTechSift.
If this ever changes
The site is built so that, if we ever add affiliate links, sponsorship or adverts, they are clearly labelled: affiliate links carry rel="sponsored", any page with one shows a disclosure line at the top, and sponsored or featured spots are marked "Sponsored". None of this is switched on today.
