What you need for cushions and curtains

Fabric, a machine, scissors, iron, pins and heading tape.

• Fabric: linen, canvas, velvet, upholstery fabric or quilting cotton for cushions.
• Curtain fabric, lining and heading tape for curtains.
• Thread to match.
• Sharp fabric scissors, pins, iron and board.
• A tape measure.
