What you need for English paper piecing
Paper templates, fabric, a glue pen or thread for basting, a fine needle and thread.
- Paper templates, for example 1 inch hexagons.
- Fabric scraps; cut with at least 6 mm (1/4 inch) seam allowance.
- A fabric glue pen with a fine tip, or old thread for thread basting.
- A fine milliner's needle.
- Fine thread; grey or taupe blends with most scrappy fabrics.
- Small scissors and an iron.
