What you need for blackwork
A small, cheap kit.
- Hardanger fabric, 22 count, or Aida.
- Black stranded embroidery thread.
- A tapestry needle: blunt point, eye big enough for the thread.
- Embroidery scissors and an embroidery hoop.
- Graph paper if you want to design your own fillings.
