How to turn a maxi dress into a skirt
Cut, make a channel and add elastic.
Step by step
- Pin where the skirt top should sit and mark a line about 1.5 inches above.
- Cut and zigzag the edge.
- Fold down about 1.5 inches and sew round, leaving a 3 inch gap.
- Thread elastic through with a safety pin, sew the ends together and close the gap.
