How to wet felt a flat piece
Layers at right angles.
Step by step
- Lay thin tufts in rows, all one direction.
- Wet with hot soapy water and press.
- Add a layer at right angles, and wet it.
- Rub under bubble wrap for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Pinch test: fibres should hold.
- Roll, throw to shrink, rinse and dry.
